Welcome Cougar fans. Wondering why you guys have such little crowds for a 7000 seat arena? When was the last time Chicago State made the NCAA playoffs? Well, see you on Thursday.

Welcome dancingnmsuaggie! To be honest, Chicago State has never had great home attendance figures. The school, itself, does not have a history of being successful in men's basketball (3 winning seasons in their D1 era). Hopefully both will change with them being in the WAC. A lot has changed for the good in their athletic department so the future is bright. As far as this season's attendance goes, the high of the year is against SIUC (1347). I'm really hoping a great crowd comes out to watch the game against your Aggies and the rest of the WAC games.
What's NMSU's story? I see their arena seats 12,482; however, the team is only averaging less than half (6015). With their success, I would have thought it'd be much higher?

There are many factors and I would have to write a long essay as to the reason why we are only filling half the arena with such a good team. However, I think with the student population coming back from break and this winning streak people will start trickling back to the games. Best of luck to your program. If we are going to stay in WAC we want the other WAC teams to do well.
